Serato DJ 1.1.1 can be downloaded direct from serato.com and now supports the Reloop TM2 and TM4 controllers with a purchased upgrade license. Support for other Serato DJ Intro controllers will be available this northern winter.
Head to serato.com/dj/upgrade to purchase an upgrade to Serato DJ for your Reloop TM2 or TM4 controller. For Serato DJ Intro customers with other controllers and Serato ITCH customers you can also choose to sign up to be notified when Serato DJ is available for you at serato.com/dj/stay-informed.
Serato seems to be coming up fast and in the right direction. Impressive. And the price reduction does show they value customer reactions. I can see a future Serato DJ with many more effects (A major reason why Traktor users remain loyal)

i just tried every possible way to copy crates and multi track selection over from serato to target drive. It does not work. i even tried dragging crates & multiple tracks to the main engine collection from a opened serato window, no joy either.

You have hopefully read the Skratchworx review from last year on Serato Scratch Live v1.4; so as not to reinvent the wheel, know that it is required reading. The packaging and contents essentially has not changed. The only thing I might want to add is that the quality of the interconnect cables is still low but that is surely not the fault of Rane or Serato. In fact, I think there are a host of manufacturers that would give anything to have a complaint like that as the only one this review could manage to come up with. The Installation and Set-up are also the same for 1.6.x as for 1.4. Some have hopes that there would be USB 2.0 availability by now, but the truth is, it would no nothing more than make SSL cost more. True the USB 2.0 bus is much faster, but the latency (a much misused term) with regard to SSL has the same 1ms overhead that USB 1.1 has.

Engine Prime is a completely separate version of the Engine software, not a subsequent version of the original Engine 1.5. Granted, it has been almost a year since Denon DJ stated that an upgrade to Engine 1.5 would see the light, but at least the fact the above statement is still live on the site points to the possibility that Denon DJ is working on making Engine Prime compatible with the MCX8000.
