Dear Shira,

Are you a current or former student at a for-profit college that had to sign a mandatory arbitration agreement when you enrolled? If so, we would love to hear your story!

Today, many for-profit colleges include a clause in students’ enrollment agreements which requires the students to settle any disputes with the schools outside of court and through arbitration. As Stephen Burd wrote at InsideHigherEd.com, “By signing these documents, students, often unwittingly, sign away their right to bring their cases to court and in front of a jury.”

One such for-profit college which has students sign arbitration agreements is Globe University/ Minnesota School of Business. Like many other for-profit colleges, Globe/MSB has high default rates, low graduation rates and often leaves students deep in debt, without a degree. If you are a current or former student at Globe/MSB who has signed an arbitration agreement, we especially want to hear from you! Simply click HERE to submit your story.

As always, we of course, welcome any other student debt stories that you want to share with us as well. Fellow, SDC co-founder, Aaron Calafato put together this short video detailing how your personal narrative really can have power.

Take a look and click HERE  to share your story!

Thank you for your contined support!
