Victor C. Salas-Pumacayo <nma...@gmail.com> described the package as
follows:
License: gpl
Other License: LIBUREGEX
Copyright (C) 2005 Víctor C. Salas-Pumacayo (aka nmag)
This library is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under
the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software

version.

Package: the Unique REGular EXpressions library
System name: liburegex
Type: non-GNU software & documentation
Description:
These are a set of functions useful for matching, translating, splitting,
replacing and joining text strings. The functions are defined in header file
`uregex.h'.
If you like `sed' or `perl' for processing the regular expressions then
liburegex is for you.
Liburegex uses POSIX regular expressions and treat all patterns in its
functions as extended regular expressions instead of basic regular
expressions.
What do you need? Only you need to know the basic structure used in sed
scripts for patterns and its options, liburegex was intended for making an
easier interface for manipulating regular expressions without thinking in
complex structures and many stages.
Other Software Required:
Depends: gnu c library (glibc)
License: GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 3
Other Comments:
That's it, is free software (as in freedom).
