Woodie install iso image - corruption

ARrRgh!!! During the base package install phase of the install
process, The installer invariably finds a corrupt .deb file. I have
burned 3 discs now, with 3 different .iso images (checksums -always-
verified correct) using easy CD creator 5. Anyone know what the *$&%
is going on here?
