Odd things and questions about the new G4 800Mhz

I've noticed some odd things...

I've been checking the /proc/cpuinfo information and 7 out of 10
reboots shows the CPU as a 7455 667 Mhz CPU revsion 2.1 (claims it is
detected as: 73 (PowerBook Titanium III). This is incorrect since
the chip is a 800Mhz CPU.. (still learning a lot about the PPC
architecture... Old hand at other systems but this is my first apple).

The Apple Profiler shows it as 800 Mhz everytime... The other 3 times
(reboots) it shows correct information (well.. actually the CPU shows
unknown).

I remember reading somewhere that the CPU is a 750 (model number from
Motorola's site).. Which might account for some of the strange
behaviour I see at times (all timing related).

Has anyone else noticed this?
