GTK apps crash

hi all
i have serious problems with all gtk apps on my powerbook g4 running
debian sid. Every app based on them keeps crashing everytime i launch
it.
All outputs give broken pipe as error.
any suggestion? maybe a bugged library i shoul replace with a
different one ?
