Newbie needs basic Mozilla group

I can't seem to find a group where I can ask basic questions about
Mozilla, which was installed for me by my computer guru (now on his
honeymoon). I've been to Mozilla.org Forums and was kindly told to run
away. I just want some questions answered that may seem stupid to
coders and programmers etc. I'm happy to go hang out with the idiots
and uninformed but I can't find such a group. Please help me. The
program works, yu understand, there's just some frustrating and wierd
little quirks. Any and all help appreciated. Lindig
