Hi all

I was wondering why the events coming from XStream do not have a "commit_scn". Any reason why it is not populated?

It looks like the "scn" field is populated using XStreamUtility.getSCNFromPosition and there is a XStreamUtility.getCommitSCNFromPosition that could used for commit_scn.

Many thanks,
Andrejs

Hi -

With XStream, the LCR does not contain the Commit SCN, which is why the value is absent.

Thanks,

Thank you for the quick reply!

Not sure if it is related to our setup but we seem to have a Commit SCN in our LCRs (Oracle 19 and 23).
XStreamUtility.getCommitSCNFromPosition gave me an SCN that was larger than normal SCN and worked in flashback queries.

Hi -

I was looking at RowLCR and didn't think to look at the utility class. In that case, could you raise a Jira enhancement request.

Thanks,
-cc
