Hi, although we have REPLICA IDENTITY FULL set on the table, we do not receive values for any columns in the update events. Debezium connector version 1.4.2.Final. Any suggestions on why this might be so?

I forgot to mention, this is postgres connector.

Hi Hrvoje -

That's unusual and not expected but perhaps there is a bug.  That version is quite old, so could you please try with 1.8.0.Final and see whether or not you have the same problems?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

we have upgraded connector, and as that did not help, we realized afterwards that partitions did not have REPLICA IDENTITY FULL set, and we thought the setting on a "main" table was relevant,
but it is not, due to how things work in postgresql. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Regards,
Hrvoje

So I suppose this is about a partitioned table? If so, a PR for clarifying this in the docs in the context where replica identity settings are discussed would be more than welcome if you're up for it :)

Thanks,
