· An open discussion among members of the youth movement on controversial and/or critical climate-related issues.
It is a Round Table. No one leads. Everyone has a voice.
It is NOT a debate which has arguments from both sides. It is an open
discussion which encourages multiple perspectives and perceptions.

What is Googlewave?
· Watch an overview of Googlewave here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6pgxLaDdQw
· Another video on Googlewave http://wave.google.com/about.html
· Need help? Do check the Official Google Wavve Help Center. http://www.google.com/support/wave/?hl=en
· Members propose topics throughout the week until Saturday 23:59 GMT under the wave titled “YCRT: Topic suggestions-due dd/mm/yy”
· Chosen topic will be open for discussion starting on Sunday under the wave titled e.g. “YCRT: Is it appropriate to … …?” “YCRT: Do you think… ….?”
· Topics will be closed after a week. However, there may be an extension for another week. (A new wave for the new week will still be initiated, and it will run concurrently with the old one)
· No one is the head/chair, but a ‘moderator(s)’ will help to post topic
· Members may start their own wave on other topics, or to ask questions. But no spamming.
· Waves that begin with “YCRT…” (short for Youth Climate Round Table) are posted by the ‘moderators’, and thus members could distinguish between an ‘official’ topic of discussion and a question or conversation posted by other members.
· All waves must be issue-based. Exchanges regarding UNFCCC, IYCM, internal coordination and WGs must be done on the usual email groups. Waves that fall beyond the parameters will be removed.
· During COY and COP, topics may be posted daily or one every 2 or 3 days according to the progress of the negotiations, and depending on whether or not this will function effectively.
Cheers,
