Saw your post on AvC.

I stopped posting there quite a while ago, not because someone pissed
me off, but because I became bored with the same old debates by the
same old people using the same old insults. I agree that the level of
debate is not always what it should be, and thought I'd pop over, lurk
a bit and give the new group a chance.

Looks, good, civilised, and frankly, quite familiar - like a reunion
of old classmates:)

How long before it degenerates?

How long before old animosities hijack the debate?

Or am I being too cynical?

Maybe there's hope.

Two posts. I attempted reopening the lines of communication with
Brock, but he either couldn't or wouldn't refuse from dishonestly
deleting portions of my posts in his response, despite a rather polite
request not to do so. His response was to smile and make some bizarre
off-hand remark. But at least I can say that I tried.

I am trying to make a new beginning here, as I got dragged into one-
liner put-downs posts along with swearing too much on AvC, and hope
that I can return to my good ol' ways here.

Regarding Brock:

Hope springs eternal, maybe he can have a change of heart too - being
able to be a reborn Christian, must give you that ability, no?

Let's hope that we could keep the old serpents out of the New Eden...

I still post on AvC, but I am ignoring the people with the snarky one-
line insults. Takes an effort to restrain myself sometimes!
