Global Change Leaders program – A Certificate Course for Emerging Women Leaders

October 2nd, 2012
The International Centre for Women’s Leadership is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for its 2013 Global Change Leaders program.  This seven week course is offered at the Coady International Institute in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The Global Change Leaders program is targeted at emerging women leaders from the global south who are working in development. These are women who have at least two years of demonstrated leadership qualities and have great drive and passion for their work, demonstrated through their outstanding contributions in their organizations and communities. They have tremendous potential to develop into strong leaders and to have great impact in the future.
The seven week program will offer them an opportunity to strengthen and enhance their leadership skills through a leadership development program facilitated by experienced faculty at the Coady International Institute, to receive mentoring from selected established women leaders from around the world and to connect to a global network of women leaders. The program will commence on March 24, 2013 and end on May 10, 2013. The program will provide financial support to selected participants.
Outstanding emerging women leaders from the global south are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Places are limited and will be highly competitive. The deadline for receipt of applications is December 3, 2012.
The program qualification requirements, on-line application form and FAQs are available at this http://coady.stfx.ca/women/change-leaders/apply/
