Dear all,
The Indian Women's Debating Championship is an event aimed at fostering inclusion of women debaters from all parts of the country. We recognise and embrace the diversity that exists in the Indian debate circuit today, and hope to host an event that best represents this diversity.
To that end, we are opening applications for the positions of Deputy Chief Adjudicators who are able to represent various circuits in the country. We hope to select candidates that:
- have a broad, current and relevant knowledge of their regional debating circuit
- are willing to support debating development within their regions, through BP specific training workshops in colleges in their region
- are able to work well within a diverse team and liaise with the organisation committee and council in matters pertinent to issues faced by women debaters in their specific region.
We hope to appoint DCAs primarily from underrepresented regions, and hope to utilise this as an opportunity to include more circuits in debating in the British Parliamentary format. Applications for DCAs are open until 23.59, Feb 10th, 2015.
