Dr. Anteneh Roba is a Houston physician and founder and executive director of the International Fund for Africa.  The IFA  promotes non hierarchical and non-exploitative relationships between human beings and all other life forms.  Dr. Roba will discuss the ethical, environmental, and health benefits of veganism.  Visit the library for the Brown Bag Lunch Special Monday, April 16, at 11:30 a.m.  If you would like to bring your class, please let me know as soon as possible.

The DeBakey Book Fair will be April 23 - 27 in the library and will be provided by Scholastic Book Fairs.  In addition to what is available in the library, an online book fair will run simultaneously and will last an additional 30 days after the 27th to enhance the selection and ensure that everyone will be able to purchase wanted titles.  Additional information about the book fair will be posted closer to the date.

1494:  How a Family Feud in Medieval Spain Divided the World by Stephen R. World Book Night

World Book Night is a celebration of the love of reading.  The celebration started in the UK and Ireland, and spread to the U.
