The Rice Education Entrepreneurship Program, KIPP Academy, and Teach for America will host Diane Ravitch October 14th at the Ley Student Center at Rice University Grand Hall at 7:10 - 7:50 p.m.  

Diane Ravitch is an education historian and Research Professor of Education at New York University.  In addition, she is a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.  She is the author of The Death and Life of the Great American School System: How Testing and Choice Are Undermining Education.
