Hello Deathbomb Friends,
I'm sitting here watching Leroy work on his first film to address YOU,
the Deathbomb viewer. Pardon the delay, this cat likes to take many
nap breaks. In the meantime, one of Leroy's first commands has been
acted upon (see below). He is mostly interested in getting a new and
improved Deathbomb site up and running though. So I've been plugging
away at that for him. Soon. Thats what I keep promising him.

1. I'm a Cat Lover, Not a Fighter added to bandcamp
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the mid 00s, I did a collaboration with Portland's Argumentix.
Dedicated to our love of cats, this album combines super silly humor
with harsh noise. While that combination was definitely sacrilege to
some harsh-heads at the time, you probably won't be surprised that it
is one of Leroy's favorite releases on Deathbomb. Go figure! So, as
per Leroys request, this album is now available as a free download on
the Deathbomb bandcamp page. Check it out and see what all the fuss in
boots is about. BTW, there is ONE copy left of the original box set of
the album. The box set includes 2 mini-cdrs of music, a comicbook, and
a teeshirt (only a youth large available now), all packaged in a
spraypainted cardboard house.

2. Captain Ahab / Rale make scary 70s music
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jonathan Snipes (of Captain Ahab) and William Hutson (of Rale) made
the score to a documentary called 'Room 237'. The documentary is about
conspiracy theories surrounding the film 'The Shining'. Their score,
instead of imitating the music of the original, takes bands like
Goblin and other 70s horror music as its inspiration. There is a mini-
doc about the making of the score online, as well a one of the tracks
from it. Jonathan and William brought together a great group of
musicians for the score, including Nick Murray, former drummer of Rose
For Bohdan. Enjoy!

3. Web wonders
------------------------------
Check out the trailer to 'Spectrum Hunter', a new short film by Jon
Clark. In part, an homage to laserdisc games, but really so much more.
We'll have copies of the DVD available in our webstore soon. In the
meantime:
