Hello Deathbomb Friends,
Bringing you the newsletter a little later in the week than usual, so
we could include a very special video from Foot Village.
I usually say more in the introduction to these newsletters, but I'd
rather let the video speak for itself!
1. Foot Village, drum cleaning specialists
2. new Foot Village split 12" now avail to North Americans
3. Was it web?
4. Upcoming LA shows
1. Foot Village, drum cleaning specialists
------------------------------------------------------------------
In a little more than a week, Foot Village begins our third tour of
the UK and EU. While sharing the when and where of this is par for the
course, we thought the more interested folks would like a little more.
So
we've made a little webmercial/video about how Foot Village gets ready
for a tour. This involves less actual drumming than you might think.
Hopefully
this video doesn't ruin the mystery of how we write songs for such
unique instrumentation. In the very least, there is a lot you can
learn from
watching this. To see the video, and for full information on the tour,
please visit this convenient webpage we've made for the tour:

2. new Foot Village split 12" now avail to North Americans
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few weeks back I noted that the forthcoming Foot Village / Super
Khoumeissa split 12" on Fat Cat was available for pre-sale everywhere
except in North America. Those days are over :) Deathbomb now has
pre-sale for this release available to those in North America, or
anywhere actually. In our webstore at:

Amsterdam magazine Subbacultcha! has a photo spread on Foot Village in
their latest issue. Since getting your hands on a physical copy is
pretty much impossible if you don't live in Amsterdam, you can check
it out via
their virtual edition:

As die hard Captain Ahab fans know, Jonathan Snipes works with Bear
McCreary on many film, tv, and video game scores. Most recently,
Jonathan helped out with electronic sounds for the SOCOM 4 video game.
Bear has posted an in depth blog about the making of this score,
including a section on Jonathan's role: SOCOM 4:
