www.dearunite.com today exclusively reveal two emails that may be
devastating for McCluskey's campaign. They detail an official complaint by a
long serving member of the union's executive about the discovery of a box of
McCluskey campaign leaflets in union offices. This would be a clear breach
of the ballot rules and is reminiscent of the famous 'men in suits' scandal
that preceded Sir Ken Jackson's final days in the union.

Embarrassingly for McCluskey it follows the exhortation from his campaign
leader last week 'not to leave election materials languishing in union
offices..'. Dearunite.com revealed that confidential exhortation 5
articles ago:

Dearunite.com also revealed last month that McCluskey's campaign website is
written by the very company that does the union's website:

Switching now to another candidate, in case you missed it 'Baylissgate the
movie' is still showing on www.dearunite.com . And we have a new movie
lined up for next week - "Same as the greedy bankers" is a short clip about
our union General Secretaries' pay and conditions.

The election for General Secretary of Unite starts next Monday. Please pass
this email on to any Unite members you know. Or point them at
www.dearunite.com to find out what's really going on in our union.

There is only one candidate in this election who is not part of the union
management - Jerry Hicks came second in Unite's 2009 election for General
Secretary, comfortably beating 2 paid officials and losing only to the
incumbent General Secretary. There is no incumbent in this election. Our
union is there to win back from the management.
