I usually work with SVG as text files, so would like the viewer to automatically refresh the display as soon as the file got saved (and its contents got changed) - this should be applicable to 'pipable' situations, I think (i.e. with named pipes).
I am still expecting an answer in case there is a pdf viewer with that option, but for the moment I can confirm the pdfnup command, which can be integrated to Thunar custom actions and thus operate through a GUI.
His laptop probably has a hybrid graphics cards setup. One intel card included in the cpu and an external nvidia card. The external nvida card is not trivial to get running under linux. One needs Nvidia optimus and Bumblebee:

so I have been having issues with Ubuntu on my computer which as a ryzen 2700x with a gigabyte aorus x470 ultra gaming and an aorus wind force 1080. Most of them I have already solved in previous threads (thanks to the community) but new ones have appeared and instead of going back here every time I have a problem I would like to learn how to do it myself or at least troubleshoot the issue. On windows, I used to be able to do this with event viewer which would tell me x driver crashed or application. Is there something similar on Linux?
thanks, @sceps. is there a more user-friendly GUI available? where I can sort by date and set filters like in windows event viewer? I did see you can set parameters and stuff do basically do that but it would be nice to have a GUI (first world windows to Linux newb problem)

And if I open 2 instances of RTT viewer and then try to debug from e2 studio , no debugging session starts and error is thrown as below
FigTree is designed as a graphical viewer of phylogenetic trees and as a program for producing publication-ready figures. As with most of my programs, it was written for my own needs so may not be as polished and feature-complete as a commercial program. In particular it is designed to display summarized and annotated trees produced by BEAST.
