i ran ozone 10 advanced in logic from it's release until the ozone 11 release without issue (11 is working fine now). validation took a loooong time in final cut, but everything works (at least, in logic, where i use it, along with vocalsynth and nectar 3). fwiw, i needed a previous version of nectar 3; if you use that, 3.7.0 works here).
Hi @walter-howerton, i didn't realize that Ozone 10 wouldn't have a standalone version! i don't have it yet, so i can't test it...i think the reason for the ozone 10 issue (as well as the advanced versions of ozone 9, rx8, neutron, etc, is because they were designed with the updated juce, and the essential versions were not (vegas 20 also has updated juce, but not SF16). this is something that will be addressed in the upcoming 16 update/patch. i will double check with the developers on that, to make sure, and write back shortly. thanks for your patience!
I do own Komplete 12 UCE which doesn't contain any version of Ozone not even the standard one. Would it still work If I crossgrade from that version or do I have to own any Ozone version on my NI account?
A crossgrade means that you then would own ozone advanced, the base product you need is the one you own and you don't need ozone in your native account. You can check it for yourself to be absolutely sure on the shop website, you have to be logged in and then you'll see if you can buy the ozone advanced crossgrade.
