  • On can → One can
And I noticed these wording issues:

  • just as triangulations → just as with triangulations
  • using quadrature formula → using quadrature formulas [or 'using a quadrature formula']

Hi Robert:
could we interest you in creating a pull request to fix these, and by that
becoming one of the authors of deal.II?

You can take a look at
https://dealii.org/community/
to see how contributing works. As for the specific places you mention:
* The "On can" place in index.html was already fixed last September
* The other two things are still unchanged. These are in the file
doc/doxygen/headers/main.h
if you'd like to edit and fix that!

Best
W.

I do  pull requests about once every six months and it's an adventure
each time, so it would take me a while to get to it. In any case, I just
looked at the sources and it seems that somebody already fixed those two
things in February (or earlier).

If 'On can' was fixed last September, and the other things were also
fixed, why did I see them when I looked at your site for the first time
today?

Hi Robert,

If 'On can' was fixed last September, and the other things were also
fixed, why did I see them when I looked at your site for the first time
today?

The "current" documentation is the documentation of the latest release which is only updated when there is a new release. The "developer" documentation is the documentation of the master branch which is updated once or twice a day I think.

Best,

Bruno
