Mohammadreza
while I'm an author of step-42, I'm not an expert in friction. As a
consequence, I don't have any particularly good suggestions other than to
suggest starting with a clarified question. Namely, step-42 is a program that
solves a static problem and as a consequence there is no place where dynamic
(kinetic) friction can play a role. Static setups can experience static
friction ("stiction") but only as a result of a time history, which step-42
does not have. As a consequence, if you wanted to include stiction, you would
still have to somehow describe a load history, for example.
My suggestion would therefore be for you to clarify what friction effects you
want to model exactly, and maybe what formulation you are considering. Though
I will have to mention that even if you did, I may not be able to suggest any
specific steps to achieve what you are looking for. It might help others on
this mailing list to do so, however.
