 I am not sure whether deal.ii has an internal function to tranform a SymmetricTensor<4,3> to FullMatrix(6,6)?

Leonhard:
I imagine you want to do this because you want to convert elasticity
properties between tensor form and Voigt or Kelvin form. There are some
functions in namespace Physics
https://dealii.org/developer/doxygen/deal.II/namespacePhysics.html
and sub-namespaces that can help. I don't think they are complete, so if there
is functionality you need but that isn't there, we'd of course gladly accept
patches that add these conversion functions.
