Adding Transparency in VisIt Without Displaying Element Faces

Hi everyone,

I have a question about postprocessing simulation data. Specifically, I’m running simulations with deal.ii and visualizing the VTU outputs in VisIt (LLNL). I’m trying to add transparency without displaying the element faces. In ParaView, this can be achieved using the "Clean to Grid" filter (as discussed here: https://discourse.paraview.org/t/paraview-opacity-problem/9329).

Does anyone have insights on how to accomplish this in VisIt?
