ShenTech NAS-STR8132 firmware compatibilty

I think that the firmware of the ShenTech NAS-STR8132, perhaps, is
compatible with the USB Network Server 652 because both are based in
STR8132.

Hi,

Firmware on NAS-STR8132 is not binary compatible, it has about 8MB
while wlx 652 has only 4MB of flash memory.

Possibly, some parts of the firmware could be reused if someone is
able to extract filesystems from the firmware image, anyway those are
again executable binaries without source code which could not be
recompiled for wlx-652.
