I've prepared a busybox with ether-wake, but I've tried at the remote
end.

Remember to change the mode: #chmod +x ./busybox_with_etherwake
Execute it: #./busybox_with_etherwake

can run but haven't tried at remote end.

I tried to download and execute the file busybox_with_etherwake.
When I execute the command "busybox ether-wake" the answer is this:
"ether-wake: applet not found".
Any suggestion ?

I've renamed the busybox to busybox_with_etherwake after the 1st post.
They are the same.
If you run busybox directly, without full path such as /usb/xxx/
busybox or at the current path "./busybox". most likely you will use
the original busybox.

Indeed I've executed "./busybox ether-wake" but the answer is "ether-
wake: applet not found".

If you run the ./busybox_with_etherwake without any option,
it will show Busybox v1.2.2, and the defined functions with "e" prefix
would be: "... egrep, env, ether-wake, expr, ..."

If you run the original snake OS v1.0 busybox without any option,
it will show Busybox v 1.14.2, and the defined functions with "e"
prefix would be "... egrep env, expr, ..."

If you run ./busybox_with etherwake ether-wake, it will show:

# ./busybox_with_etherwake ether-wake
BusyBox v1.2.2 (2010.01.22-10:00+0000) multi-call binary

Usage: ether-wake [-b] [-i iface] [-p aa:bb:cc:dd[:ee:ff]] MAC

Send a magic packet to wake up sleeping machines.
MAC must be a station address (00:11:22:33:44:55) or
a hostname with a known 'ethers' entry.

I don't know if that can help but I had once written a really simple wol client that worked on me

when compiled for arm, mips and intel

attached is the source code (GPL v2) and a stripped binary static executable built on a raspberry pi, that should work on snake os too..
