DPN Event August 6th 2010

Friends and Colleagues,

It's time to attend DPN in STYLE! As many of you know, we have a
wonderful Downtown scene here in San Diego that we are not taking full
advantage of! This will be our first Downtown DPN in 2010 and what
better night than a nice August Night! I found us a nice place that
will not just offer decent food, full bar and a DANCE Floor, but ALSO
the owners are willing to bend backwards and offer Only DPN Patrons
Extended Happy Hour deals from 8pm until Midnight! That's right, you
heard me. Their regular Happy Hour ends when the DPN Happy Hour starts
so you can still come sooner than 8pm, 2-for-1 "Half Price" on
Selective Beers, Well drinks, and Liquors. $2 Jag shots, free buffet
food (read more details below)

The next DPN location for Friday, August 6th 2010, will be taking
place Taste and Thirst on 4th and G Street Downtown in the Famous
Gaslamp Quarters near the Horton Plaza. We will probably provide some
kind of wristbands or special hand stamps so the bartenders can tell
who is our Patrons from their regular customers so we can get our
special Happy Hour deals :)

The event will run from 6pm-2am. PLEASE Dress Up!, Let's all be
Classy and show that we know how to go out a night on the town.

PARKING: Remember This IS Downtown, if you want to be able to find
cheaper decent parking, YOU NEED TO COME EARLY. DO NOT park at the
Horton Plaza, it will be very expensive after the first free 3 hours
if you even Bothered to validate it before 9pm. There are MANY public
parking lots all over downtown, which several are within a few blocks
from this location, google it up, I strongly recommend you to CARPOOL
with friends, if you fill up your car with your friends and split the
all night parking cost, it's only a few bucks per person.

event. They offer free buffet food from 7-9pm with a minimum of 2
drinks purchase.

Age restriction: 21+ only

IMPORTANT!!!
This is an open invitation to all deaf community working professionals
and graduate students. All deaf people with substantial working
experience, deaf/hearing graduate students, and hearing professionals
serving the deaf community are all welcome. Sign language is the
primary mode of communication at all DPNs.
