It's been a very long time since I sent out a news letter, mainyl due
to very little worth reporting and not enough time at my disposal. But
here goes!
01. Twothousandsix.
As I look back on 2006 I realize that the year wasn't quite as inactive
as I first thought. I didn't do many performances but lots of releases
saw the light of day. My sophomore album for iDEAL "Old Ghosts, New
Ghosts, All Ghosts" was finally released after much delay. The reviews
have so far all been positive, which of course is very nice, especially
since the album deals with painful memories and I at one time thought
about not having it released at all.
I also managed to get on another piece of vinyl, a split 7" tribute to
Swedish Astronaut, Christer Fuglesang, shared my good friend Ronnie
Sundin. I have a few copies for sale for 8 bucks a pop, including
postage. There are also tons of distros & mailorders that carry Fang
Bomb stuff. Check out www.fangbomb.com for details and links.
For those of you who care to find out what I thought of 2006's music,
I've made a few best-of-lists:

2007 looks to be even more intense release wise. Two new CD's; "Fall
Fall Falling" on Kalligrammofon and "Lost In Reflections" on iDEAL, a
couple of compilation appearances, a CD-R on Mystery Sea and a brand
new cassette release in the on-going No Words series as well as some
other goodies that I'll keep under wraps for now.
03. WSAG #10: No Words
Yet another No Words sees the light of day, this time in the form of a
cassette on When Skies Are Grey. This little C50 features 50 improvised
drone/noise pieces that I cooked up during the holidays. I've made a
total of 15 copies, each packaged in a handmade, black card-stock
slipcase. Supplies are very limited so please reserve your copy before
you send any payment. The cassette is 8 dollars including shipping
world-wide. Check the site if you want to see what it looks like.
04. WSAG #11: All Ghosts Tee
Due to popular demand I'll make a tee-shirt based on the All Ghosts
design. It'll be a dark grey, heavy duty, vee-neck tee with the hugging
couple printed in black on the front. Check the site for a mock up. If
you want one, pre-order by sending 25 dollars to
con...@whenskiesaregrey.se. All pre-ordered tee's will come with a
business-card CD-R featuring exclusive material plus what ever other
free goodies I have laying around in the form of stickers, buttons,
collages and what not. Don't forget to state what size you want, S-XL
(European scale, Americans might want to get one size larger then you
normally wear).
05. Fall, Fall, Falling...
The above mentioned album for Kalligrammofon is getting closer and
closer to release. The CD will be sent to the plant sometime in the
coming week or so. Hopefully it will be available in a month or two,
but I am not making any promises. The album will also be available on
cassette with a bonus track not on the CD edition.
06. Odds & Ends
Hopefully 2007 will also see a brand new Deadwords.org. I've started to
work on a much more streamlined version, but but trying to juggle a
full-time job with freelance work AND making music, it's hard to find
the time for it. My aim is to have it done by the end of April but
I'd be surprised if I manage that.

Not really Dead Letters business, but I finally got around to redoing
my design portfolio. Have a look at www.nullvoid.net

As I mentioned earlier I haven't been playing live a lot lately, mainly
due to the fact that I don't have the time
to pimp my drones around. If anyone have any good leads or is
interested in booking me, please get in touch.

That's it for now. Peace out!
