01. »Scars/Shards«

»Scars/Shards« is now available for download cortesy of Zeromoon. My
most abstract work in a long time, this 20 minute EP deals with
separation, loss and - as on my coming album - circles. It's lo-fi
nature is a natural effect of having recorded all the source sounds
with a micro cassette recorder as opposed to my usual set up of
minidisc and condenser mic. Some might call it a step backwards but the
way I see it this side of Dead Letters is just as important as my more
melodic, song based output. Judge for yourself.

02. The Music of Choice of Normal People

Some of you might be familiar with my collaborative project Normal
Music. We made a few, CD's, CDr's and MP3 EP's a few years ago and was
then put to rest. Or so we thought. For some reason we decided to have
a go at it again. We'll probably go back into hybernation again for a
few years, but until then you can head on over to Zeromoon @
Archive.org and download these two long, rythmic ambient tracks with
hints of dub and filter techno. You know, du-tch-du-tch-du-
tch.

03. Side notes

The releases of my new album and live CDr are getting closer and
closer. Still not date set yet, but hopefully they will be out in time
for the Christmas shopping.

And as long as we're on the subject of records, The Skull Defekts'
»Open The Gates of Mimer« should be out by the end of October. For
this recording Joachim Nordwall, Henrik Rylander and myself teamed up
with Norweigian master of Noise Lasse Marhaug for an hour or so of
darkness, doom and gloom, all captured nicely by the mic's of Swedish
Radio. To top things off AA and iDEAL will co-release another, limited
edtion CD released around the same time entitled »Rotating Feedback &
Save the Skull«. Since I am not on it, I have no idea what it sounds
like, but Messer's Nordwall & Rylander rarely fail to deliver grade a
noise, so I am not worried.

That's it for now,
Thomas
