There hasn't been much going on musically on the Dead Letters front
lately mainly because of some personal problems and also because The
Skull Defekts have take much of my time. But there are still a few
things to report.

The new album »Old Ghosts, New Ghosts, All Ghosts« will most likely
be released in October on iDEAL. It contains 19 tracks in 52 minutes,
most of which have been performed live during the past year. It's the
usual mix of darkness, abstractions and also some more melodic work.
For the select few of you that have heard Sally Hill EP it's, at least
in my mind, a natural progression.

Speaking of Sally Hill, Kning Disk is currently planning on
re-releasing all their gallery edition 3" cdrs, including Sally Hill
this fall and later on they
might be compiled in a cd box. Keep a look out.

And while we're on the subject of Kning Disk, said label will be
releasing a 7" with yours truly. No release date is set but the two
tracks - »I need You So That I Could Die« and »When She's Gone«
have been recorded. Both tracks are part of my ongoing exploration of
pop music in a drone context and are by far my most pop structured work
so far.

I am also putting together a limited edition cassette of material from
the above mentioned releases along with four all new songs. The
cassette is entitled »Now That Summer's Gone« and it will be
available only at this years Norberg Festival and for a limited time to
subscribers of this newsletter. I will keep you posted.
