An appeal to foreign diplomats: give up the Nazism

Pristina, April 6th (Tanjug) - The president of the Temporary Executive
Council for Kosovo and Metohia Zoran Andjelkovic sent a letter today to
foreign collocutors and diplomats that he spoke to during past several
months.
The letter says: "Today is April 6th 1999. In the year 1941, on the same
day, April 6th, Hitler's Nazi Germany bombarded Belgrade. Nazi NATO Alliance
is today also bombarding, but not only Belgrade. Clinton's alliance is
destroying cities, villages, hospitals, children's nurseries, roads, heating
plants, water supplies, killing women, children, new born babies, refugee
colonies. In the name of who and what for?
This alliance has put itself in service of Albanian terroristic and
separatistic gang organization that carries out criminal acts in order to
separate a part of Serbian Republic and Yugoslavia. Nobody in my country
believes any more that former Yugoslavia was meant to be broken and divided
by Slovenes, Croats, Macedonians, Muslims... but you. Those who didn't see
that clearly than, now realize that it is the next part of the same, your
scenario. You have destroyed the most beautiful bridges that are bringing
cities and people together. You have divided Novi Sad from the rest of
Serbia, but you will not succeed in dividing people.
You have destroyed the bridges toward Rashka in order to separate that part
too. You have destroyed the bridges toward Kosovo. But, destroying bridges
and roads, you have brought Serbian people closer together, and all the
people that have Serbia as their only home. You have destroyed railroads,
but people will meet each others again. You destroy transmitters to force us
to watch your Nazi CNN, but the truth is here, In Serbia. You destroy
buildings that are older than your country, In Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis,
Kragujevac, Prizren, an ancient empire city. You cannot wipe off the history
of this people that always knew how to defend itself and rise again.
You destroy gas stations, oil refineries, fuel tanks, to prevent Serbian
farmers from sowing. But Serbs have hoes, the same ones that their
great-grandfathers had. You destroy houses, schools, hospitals, children's
nurseries, in order to help the ones that you have produced - terroristic
gangs that are killing and trying to steal the very same piece of land. We
are not giving it away.
Those who were frightened by you and that have fled this territory in fear
of bombs will come back. You cannot understand that fear. Those are the
columns frightened of you and your bombs. It's not a humanitarian
catastrophe. You should know, mister, that in spite of your technical
superiority and your habit to conquer and enslave you will not conquer nor
enslave my country.
Those because of which you are destroying my country have returned where
they were sent from. Terrorist bandits are no longer in Kosovo, they are
with you. Maybe you think you could return them with the help of tanks. Be
certain that every soldier from your country that sets his foot on my
country's territory will not only be considered an enemy but also a target,
as my country is your target.
Sir, give up the Nazism. My people is not Apache tribe nor some other Indian
tribe that you have placed into reservations and killed and that no longer
exists. Don't let my people remember you only by reservations and killings.
You won't succeed in commanding and appointing chiefs here. I want to
believe that you, as your country's representative, on this day, when Nazi
Germany attacked my country 58 years ago, can stop Nazi alliance NATO hordes
and allow my people not to remember you as a country that once wanted to
conquer one people.
Let your thoughts be followed by huge protests of the people in my country,
but also in France, Germany, Australia, Britain, in front of your residents.
Those protests age against your bombs, tomahawks, rockets. They all consider
you an aggressor with a horrible attribute - Nazi criminals.
No country was attacked by you with such force as mine, but my people isn't
scared. My people doesn't know what fear is, but knows well the price of
defending the fatherland. It's the same country that you were visiting,
admiring its historical monuments, older than your country, spent vacations
in most beautiful beaches, skied in most beautiful mountains. Give up the
killing, give up the destroying of our proud and beautiful homeland, because
it has existed before you and will exist further, in spite of your intention
to bring it to its knees and conquer it. That won't happen.
I expect you to understand my words and the voice of my people, concludes
Andjelkovic in his letter.
