Explain to us, as an expert, just what was the original intent of
Rosh Ha'Shanah in the ancient, pre-Solomonic Jewish times? There were

military, that seemed to spring up, like insects, overnight, around the
time of Moses. Moses had to study from dozens of generations of rabbis
