Allerdings hat sich zwischenzeitlich etwas beim Tauchen in
Griechenland behördlicherseits getan:
Es gibt ein neues Tauchgesetz (seit 2005)
Eine, eher zähe, Ausführung dazu:
http://www.taucher.net/redaktion/62/Griechenland_-_Quo_Vadis__8.html
http://www.divemedcollege.com/german/certifieddivers.htm
http://www.waterhoppers.com/
http://www.tridentdivingschool.com/lowhome.htm
Welche davon sind zu empfehlen? Welche unbedingt zu vermeiden?
(für erfahrene Freytaucher/TLs, also Herdentauchen_30m50bar_raus
Programm nicht gewünscht...)
Gibt es noch nicht im Netz vertretende kleine lokale Anbieter die
empfehlenswert sind?

**Kalithea
Kalithea Bay has been famous for its theraputic springs from before
the age of the Knight Templers. The present spa was built by the
Italians in 1928, has been recently renovated and now includes a small
museum and gallery.
Kalithea means beautiful view in Greek and this stunning bay certainly
lives up to its name. The Waterhoppers' dive and snorkelling platform,
where our boat moors each day, lies a little outside the main bay.
Please be aware that there is no direct access to the beach of
Kalithea.
Kalithea Bay is renowned for its underwater caverns and unusual rock
formations. The caverns are very open, easily accesible to qualified
divers and home to a wide variety of Mediterranean sponges and soft
corals. A topography including caverns, rock overhangs, sea grass and
sand provides a huge diversity of Mediterranean sea life. Add to this
the gradual change in the salinity of the Mediterranean, bringing with
it many fish from the red sea, and you have a dive to remember.
Depth: max 20m
Visibility: average 20.
Temperature: 19°C rising to 30°C in August
Diver qualification: suitable for all qualifications
We run diving and snorkelling trips to Kalithea every day from June to
end September. Days are reduced in May and October.
Our diving and snorkelling boat, the Katerina, sails from Mandraki
harbour in Rhodes Town at 9.15am and returns around 5pm. We are moored
next to the traffic lights, just opposite the taxi rank and a 2 minute
walk from the bus station. Clients are asked to register onboard at
8.45am.
**Ladiko
Ladiko is a quiet, very pretty bay, situated about 15km from Rhodes
Town. It is adjacent to Anthony Quinn bay, which is known by the
actor's name as he bought this part of the island when filming 'The
Guns of Navarrone'. Ladiko Bay with its negligible tides clearly
reflects its name, which in Greek means 'always calm'. The lush green
vegetation surrounding the bay is reflected in the deep emerald colour
of the water.
Ladiko Bay is a dive site for more experienced divers, offering a wall
dive sloping down to 30+ meters. Along the wall at the deepest point
you will experience a slight drift and see a wide variety of
Mediterranean sea life and some old amphora.
Depth: to 30m
Visibility: average 20m
Temperature: 19°C rising to 30°C in August
Diver qualification: Advanced plus
We dive at Ladiko bay every Thursday during the summer season. Divers
meet us at the taverna in Ladiko Bay at 10am. We can arrange a
transfer for divers who are staying at hotels between Rhodes Town and
Ladiko Bay, the transfer fee is €7.50.
**Kolymbia
Kolymbia is situated on the east coast, mid way between Rhodes Town
and Lindos. With Seven Springs (Epta Piges) close by, Kolymbia is one
of the greenest areas on Rhodes Island. Kolymbia is a quiet family
resort with a beautiful sandy beach.
Kolymbia offers a shallow, very pretty dive site with a mixture of
rocks, sand and sea grass providing a home to a wide range of smaller
Mediterranean sea life. With great visibility and calm water Kolymbia
is a lovely dive for all qualifications.

**Pefkos
Pefkos is an attractive village and holiday resort, within walking
distance of Lindos and about 56km from Rhodes Town. Pefkos has a
beautiful beach of soft golden sand and from every direction pine
trees, after which Pefkos was named, can be seen.
Pefkos is a very pretty, shallow dive site with many rock overhangs
hiding a plethora of Mediterranean sea life.

Temperature: 19°C rising to 30°C in August

Divers meet at the Finas hotel pool bar at 12.30am.
**Plimiri
Plimiri is some 85km to the south of Rhodes Town at Cape Vigla. It is
a very quiet, sandy bay backed by low dunes. No hotels here, the bay
is used only by fishermen and a few tourists looking for a quiet spot
to spend the day.
There is a very good reason we dive Plimiri - it is home to the wreck
of the cargo ship Giannoula K. Built in the Netherlands and launched
in 1953, the Giannoula K went through several owners and by different
names before sinking in Plimiri in 1981. Lying at a maximum depth of
22m and still virtually intact this is a fabulous wreck dive. The
wreck is reached by rib. The mast just breaks the surface, making a
convenient descent and ascent line to the 110m length of the wreck.
Depth: max 22m
Visibility: average 15m
Temperature: 19°C rising to 30°C in August
Diver qualification: Advanced plus, must have dived within the last 6
months
We dive at Plimiri every Monday during the summer season. We meet at
the jetty at Plimiri at 10.30am. We are able to arrange a transfer for
divers staying at hotels between Rhodes Town and Plimiri, the transfer
fee is €20.
**Lindos
Lindos is situated on the south east coast, about 54km from Rhodes
Town. It was one of Rhodes' ancient and most important cities, growing
to prosperity under the Knights of St John. Lindos has now been
declared a national landmark, with many of its medieval buildings
still intact.
Lindos is now one of the most popular travel locations in Greece
because of its relaxed atmosphere, friendly locals and the pristine
condition of the town and beaches. Here the Waterhoppers Make their
own contribution, doing an underwater cleanup in Lindos Bay every
March.
Lindos offers some of the most spectacular diving in Greece. The
various sites include walls which just keep going down, immense
caverns and drift diving. The depth and drift here bring in the larger
Mediterranean occupants, tuna and even seals can be spotted here. The
caverns appear to be lit by tiny lights, which on approaching you find
are the eyes of hundreds of shrimp. Dive sites are reached by rib,
limiting numbers. Once dived, Lindos will rank highly in any diver's
top ten dives.
Depth: to 40m
Visibility: average 20m
Temperature: 19°C rising to 30°C in August
Diver qualification: Advanced plus, must have dived within the last 6
months
The Waterhoppers base is located just up from the main Lindos beach.
Take the first turning on the right from the beach road, our office is
about 50m from the beach. We make 2 dives in the morning and 2 in the
afternoon every day except Sunday during the summer season. Morning
divers meet at 8.45am and afternoon divers at 1.30pm.

Welche guten Tauchplätze fehlen denn in der obigen Aufzählung?
Werden die auch angefahren oder werden die Tauchgäste trotz durchaus
