ok u outside-usa treks', keep your eyes on this posting if u want to
see more TREK, as the following will include suppliers and addresses
for all sorts of stuff, including SEASON 7 STTNG VIDEOS (YES, THE
FINALE TOO), TREK CDs, TREK MAGAZINES, TREK TOYS, TREK EVERYTHING.
the following is also for information purposes only, i do not work
for paramount nor starlog nor (being paid for) soliciting for them in
any way!

i just picked up the new "the star trek encyclopedia, a reference
guide to the future", i don't know how long it has been around, but
it is a great marvel for those that own no star trek books at all, or
those that know little about sttng. it is accurate from the old trek
"it's dead, jim" shows, to season6 of sttng (also season1 of stdsn).
it is also an offical "pure sttng" release, alike the "sttng:
technical manual" (i call it the ncc1701d owner's manual), not junk
like the "star trek: the worlds of the federation" (actually, any
book put together by mike okuda, basically mr.sttng himself, is a
worthy collectable). this heavy 400 paged, 8,5x11 book, sells for
US$18. it is published by:

the isbn catalog number is 0-671-86905-1. if you do not find this one
in your SF bookshop in your area, they most likely can order it for
you. if that seems remote, contact the library! you would be
surprised the kind of connections a library can have.
you might also want to contact dealers that advertise in the starlog
magazine, they should too be able to sell you the book (and a various
assortment of other trek goodies!). if there is no starlog in your
book shops, try an international magazine shop that imports from the
usa, and if that is a dead end, you can always write to:

starlog magazines are an american press litho'ed in full color, and
offer both the sttng and stdsn issues. starlog's sttng/stdsn
magazines contains all sorts of photos, detailed synopses, and
directors info, and other trek things. All issues directly from
starlog are exactly US$11 each issue, includes foreign shipping.
now, one place that has perhaps alot of trek stuff to offer is
starlog themselves. starlog does sell foreign mail order! and starlog
also accepts visa and mastercard credit card:
starlog offers star trek autographed plaques. they are individualized
plaques which are made for each trek actor, that is, the actors from
trek original series, trek movies, sttng, and stdsn. autographed
plaques start at US$110, and get more expensive, depending on who it
is! so you can have your fave trek actor and their signature hung on
ye wall.
starlog offers star trek pins. not only just the plain communicator
pin (used in sttng), but other nice insignia pins like romulan pins,
bajoran pins, klingon pins, federation pins, romulan pins, borg pins,
a pin with a picture of the enterprise, a pin of san francisco
(?!?!?!?), lotsa more! the pins, of course, are metal and have
colorfully glazed.
starlog offers software. "sound source" is a computer software
company that sells audio clips for your computer. audio clips for
windows include "star trek original logical collection", "st:tng
encounter at farpoint", and audio clips for the mac has even much
more (wonder if the fact that enterprise on board computer graphics
are made with the mac has anything to do with it!), in addition to
the two above titles, are "final frontier", "best of both worlds",
"virtual data". each software package is US$55 each. (shipping not
included in mentioned prices).
starlog offers CDs. each CD contains the music and score that was
used in that specific trek episode. here are just some of them:

starlog offers star trek mouse pads! yes, two of them, one called
"star trek movie scene", which is 10x10, and the other "sttng scene",
9x11. they are US$24 each, shipping is included. yes, they look
mighty nice, in full color, etc.
starlog has model garage kits, there is a picard, worf, and data,
each about 12" tall. if u are good at sculpting and painting, you
cana make these into trophies! US$60 each, plus US$10 for postage,
+US$5 for each additional one you order at the same time.
don't as why, but starlog also has sttng coins made with ,999 one
troy ounce of pure silver. there are three of them, a picard, a
troi&riker, and a worf&data&geordi. they are US$35 each. these
limited edition coins apparently will not undergo second minting.
each comes individually packed in a handsome crushed suede case.

there are two tiny trek hologram trading cards available! i'm sure
you have seen things like these before, which are a silver surface
which have a 3d image printed. the ncc1701d is US$33, and spock in
amok time is US$11,50 (prices include shipping). each is individually
numbered, and comes in an acrylic display box.

although sttng ended some time ago, and sttng is no more, stdsn is
still about. you might consider to join the "star trek: the official
fan club", which is the original and official fan club run in the usa
under copyright of paramount. the fan club covers everything in the
trek universe. as a joined member, you will receive a year
subscription to the club's full color magazine. i would assume the
magazine will contain all sorts of spoilers and evil nasties that
fans need to feed upon! also with the membership, an offical
merchandise catalog, filled with all trek goodies that have existed,

trek videos: you can be up to date with the usa with home videos
containing up to season7 of sttng and season2 of stdsn. the st7 movie
is due soon, and u might feel funny if you watch that in the theatre
without going thru the sttng finale first! fandom home videos
(archived off the air by fans for fans) can be made into PAL STANDARD
video signal. you are obliged to pay for cost of the video cassette,
time-share use of equipment, and air mail postage. email and leave

trek laserdiscs: there are also various usa mail order movie dealers
that sell trek movie laserdiscs (ntsc format only), and apparently
the first two seasons of sttng, as well as all of the old trek, are
mastered on ntsc laserdisc. if you do not have a laserdisc player, u
r at best to contact a local dealer to purchase trek movie videos
(which will also be in PAL or SECAM format, most likely). dealers in
the usa will sell trek movies on vhs, but your video player must be
able to play ntsc. trek movies may be mail ordered from these

and not only the movies are out on laserdisc, but the whole entire
tos is on LD too, and apparently the first two seasons of sttng also!
the franklin mint, know for offering gold and silver plated prestige
collectibles, has many trek products available, here are just some of
the many:
a 25th anniversary edition star trek chess set. this is no regular
chess set! more to say, this is indeed no chess set you have ever
seen before. from the pieces to the board it is on. each chesspiece
is 24 karat gold electroplated.
another fine offer, is the 1701d offical fifth anniversary pewter
sculpture. the main sensor array is 24 karat gold electroplated, and
the warp nacells are crystal cabochons. measures 19cm in length, and
sells for US$195 (ouch! but it may be worth it to the collector?).
here's a good one. there is also "the offical insignia collection",
there are going to be 12 insignias, each made of sterling silver and

to collect all 12, you will need some money!
this is perhaps the best: the star trek galaxy globe. relive the
unforgettable adventure of "the tholian web"! experience those tense
final seconds when the 1701 seems about to be trapped in an energy
net woven around by hr two hostile alien vessels. then start the
motor (in the globe) as swirling stars surround the escaping
starship. fine pewter sculptured, accents of 24k gold. this 8" globe

i think the cutest trek toy made is the tricorder! some might think
you are weird, though, if you use it too often to continuously scan
