A new standard for Common Name Resolution has been
defined whereby a human friendly 'common name'
can be used to replace any URI. They can contain spaces
and other punctuation.

Therefore, one could type in 'go:Silver Server' and
get pointed to 'mailto:jpsi...@freemailserver.net'
or 'go:Drako Comix World' instead of
'http://www.genservusa.com/prds/usa/comics/draco_main.html'.

There is a free CNRP client for Windows, called Onyma 1.2,
that makes Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator
natively understand the 'go:' URI, used by CNRP.

There is also a free CNRP service where users can sign
in and FREELY register their own Common Names (link).

Main CNRP site: http://cnrp.research.netsol.com
Windows IE plugin (Onyma 1.2):
http://cnrp.research.netsol.com/plugin/Onyma1.2/Onyma120Win32.exe
Register new Common Names:

Please check it out, and let us know what you think.
How could it be made more useful?
