The successful candidate will work within the
Riboproteomics Group and have extensive
experience in protein and protein-RNA complex
characterization and purification. The practical
work will comprise protein purification and
characterization of protein-protein and RNA-
protein complexes. Having a high capacity for
team work and still be mostly independent, the
candidate will join international and
interdisciplinary project teams composed of
biologists and chemists.

Essential Skills Required:
- Protein expression, purification an
- General molecular biology technique

General Skills:
- Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry or related area with 2-5
years of postgraduate experience preferably in an
industrial setting; working knowledge of expression and
purification of recombinant proteins in bacteria and other
systems, affinity purification methodologies, 2-D gel
electrophoresis, analysis of protein-protein and RNA-
protein interactions in vitro and in vivo. Experience in
purification of membrane-associated proteins is a plus.
Experience in assay development would be an advantage.
