The selected Independent Consultant SAP Technical Architect will
report to the SAP Chief Technology Officer and will work with the SAP
Architecture Team to:
· Help create and maintain SAP architectural best practices and
activities, addressing application, data and technology in the
context of business processes
· Look for and help develop new services and capabilities to
address client business needs in the SAP space
· Support new and existing service offerings as required
· Participate in SAP implementations as required; specifically:
· Assist SAP System Architect in planning and estimating
activities
· Assist SAP System Architect in design, sizing, and costing
activities
· Assist SAP System Architect in implementing project
architectural activities
· Support an architectural continuous improvement process
· Help develop and maintain the repository of standard,
integrated, re-usable SAP solutions in support of business
processes
· Help develop and execute an architecture quality review process
for SAP projects and activities
· Help provide a forum/network to share learning and leverage
skills and knowledge

Critical Knowledge
· Knowledge of Core SAP Technical and Application Architectures
(FI/CO, MM/PP/PPPI, SD, PM, QM)
· Knowledge of SAP Additional Module Technical and Application
Architectures (BW, APO)
· Knowledge of Catalyst Architectural modules or other
architectural methodology helpful
· Knowledge IBM / DB2 platform technology
· Knowledge of SAP Bolt-ons helpful (Vertex, etc.)
· Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools
helpful (Crossworlds, STC, etc.)
· Knowledge of chemical manufacturing, supply chain in general
(and client's environment in particular) helpful

This long term contract is in the Wilmington, Delaware / Maryland area
offering an initial six month+ contact with a flexible starting rate
in the $560 to $640 per day range depending on experience with no
