The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for ensuring that a project is completed on time and within the allocated budget. Reporting the project's status and communicating any risks or issues to management. In addition to communicating the risk/issue, the PM is responsible for determining appropriate solutions to mitigate the risk or resolve the issue. Interfacing with the Customer to ensure that the project deliverables are fully understood. Ensuring that the SDM methodology is carefully followed including completion of all documentation. During Initiation, the PM completes the PRW, Project Plan, IA, and IE with the help of the primary developer. During the Analysis Phase, the PM completes the C/F with the help of the primary developer. During the Technical Design Phase, the PM ensures that the System Specification is complete and that the Architecture Review Board approves the technical approach. During the Construction Phase, completes a construction plan that includes delivery dates for each component. Ensures that an appropriate Unit test plan is created and executed. Manage any defects that arise as part of Unit/System/Integration and UAT. During the Implementation Phase, ensure that Service Center request is completed and approved prior to implementation and that the Implementation and Post Implementation plan are completed and reviewed with Operations prior to the install.
College degree or equivalent technical work experience. At least 5 years development or project management experience in a work environment. Experience with UNIX environments 2+ years. Excellent knowledge of development life cycle. MS Word, and MS Project.
