MobileTimes announces the release of its message blocking Sentinel BlockUs
for Windows-based Mobile Devices.
Do you regularly install software on your mobile device?
Are you aware that sending messages (either SMS, MMS, or E-Mail) from your
mobile device without you knowing is as easy as 1-2-3?
Are you a representative of a corporate entity, organization, or simply
somebody who makes Mobile Devices available to others?
If any of the above holds true, you should continue reading.
Any program can easily automate sending messages from a Mobile Device
without its users knowledge. Bot-Nets, Spam-, and Spy-tools can utilize
this feature to gain access to your most trusted private information, or
make use of your devices resources!
BlockUs automatically blocks every attempt to send messages from your
device. Blocked messages are placed in a special folder. You decide which
messages are un-blocked by creating customized un-block rules based on
supplied recipient addresses. This little utility also allows you to peruse
all sent messages on your device, by taking into account their blocking
status. Easily find out what messages where sent (or for which an attempt
was made to send them) on any given day and time.
A Multi-Lingual User Interface to over 140 languages is available.
Support exists for Windows Mobile 5.0 & 6.x (6.0, 6.1, & 6.5) for the
PocketPC/Professional and SmartPhone/Standard platforms. Released as
shareware.
