Yes, yesterday I changed my Sony CRX175A1 into a Lite-on LTR-24102B.
The only thing you have to do is to flash the firmware with the one for the
Lite-on at (real) MS-DOS operating system.

bin-file from the Lite-on exe-file. I flashed that
bin-file with the program mktflash148.exe from:
