UV light to fix cdrw coater, has anyone hear of this? Where do you get the
uv light, the sun? or some other source?

30 min in the sun may work, or it may destroy the disc, or it may do
nothing.

I have had mixed results with several hours' exposure to intense
sunlight; some were then erasable, some were not. Back in the days when
the question was worth asking (erasables cost several dollars each),
there were reports of good and consistent results with a PROM eraser.

No one seems interested now that a new disc is so cheap and a 'repaired'
disc is so thoroughly unreliable.
