execute script under different user

how can I write a script who logs in as a different user and execute
some commands under this user? (without typing password?)

I know there is a possibility to write a program and set the SUID flag.
But does exist another possibility?

Im übrigen: Es ist im deutschen Usenet nicht grade gern gesehen, auf
Englisch zu posten. Da es auch de.comp.os.unix.shell gibt und man bei
Novartis in der Schweiz doch sicher deutsch radebrecht, hättest du dich
darauf beschränken können.

Does anyone have any practical experience using the GNU userv package for
this end?
