Am USB-System des 2.6.16 hat sich wohl was verändert. Siehe dazu auch:

Nö bei mir gibt es bei einer fritzcard pci sowas:

it is possible.
There is a error message in /usr/src/fritz/src/tools.h:74
Just remove the funtion starting at this line. It seems that the
function is not used (i found no reference to it).
(I just added a /* at the beginning of line 74, gives a warning, but works)

Better add a closing */ after the function.

Als Deutscher sollte man das.
Ich wollte nur die Antwort nicht 'unlesbar' machen für unsere nicht
deutschsprachigen Kollegen, die es eventuell suchen. Und da die Lösung doch
recht einfach ist, aber die Suche sehr ärgerlich, ....

Das soll nur bedingt Kritik sein: Deine Aussage ist ignorant gegenüber
der Gruppe. Wir befinden uns hier im 'de.*'-Zweig. Die Absicht ist
durchaus löblich, doch poste dann bitte in zwei Sprachen.

Ich habe laut AVM hier die 5 Zeilen auskommentiert.

Dann habe ich hier einfach die Zeile, die "OWNER" enthielt auskommentiert,
nachdem AVM keinen Rat wußte.
Das Modul lässt sich ohne Fehler bauen und laden, Faxe empfange ich nun auch
wieder.

Es muss ja irgendwas anderes sein was ab dieser Kernel Version nicht
mehr geht.
Bei mir war es AVM Nvidia und VMWARE die nicht mehr wollten.

Mal eine provokante Frage: Gibt es einen speziellen Grund, daß Du unbedingt
den 2.6.16 brauchst und mit einem Distributionskernel nicht auskommst?

Klar in dem Kernel ist PPTP nat mit eingebaut. Was nun endlich VPN
Sitzungen hinter einem Linux Router erlaubt. Mag sein das es auch unter
2.6.15 schon so war. Der 2.6.16 ist übrigens der aus der SuSE Factory,
den kann man sich dann im Null komma nix an die SuSE 10.0 anpassen
