Have a very very old version of OS2-- what to do with it?

Hello,
I just installed a very very old version (I think about 1995) which I found
on my attic, and now I wonder what to do with it. I have a LAN with several
Linux machines (and a few Windows ones, if that can't be avoided), and I am
just trying to find out how to connect it (1) to the LAN (2) to the
internet, and (3) to upgrade it.
But, first, what is the status of OS2? Is it still alive?
