Adaptec Raid Controller

Hi,

I have a lot of trouble with a Adaptec IDE Raid Controller 2400A, I have
tested it with 3 - 4 types
Of mainboards CPU etc..... and every time its the same failure.
When the machine starts to Format the disk it runs for about 8 - 12 pct. of
the disk and it stops.
And the it starts to flash 4 Leds on the controller and it never gets any
further.
Its with Redhat 7.2.

PLEASE HELP !
