Startschuss dt. OOo [discuss] starting shot lang.de ?!

Dank Timons Bemühungen einen ftp Server für eiene deutsche Fassung von
OO 638c zu finden, kommt die Infrastruktur für eine lang.de gut voran.
Thanks to Timon's efforts to get ftp space for German lang builds the
infrastructure for a lang.de develops quite good.
Now we need to do a headcount of who is interested in the project. I
assume the OOo discuss and the staroffice.de.chat and the
de.comp.office-pakete.staroffice to be the most likely pond for volunteers.
Nun müssen wir mal bilanzieren, wer mitmachen will (am Anfang etwas
mehr, aber in der Woche so 3-5 Stunden soll es nicht überschreiten). Ich
vermute die Freiwilligen in der Discuss, SO.de.chat u. de.comp.o-p.SO.

Gut wäre, jemanden von TeamStarOffice dabei zu haben. I'd appreciate to
have someone from www.teamStaroffice.org with us.
Ebenso wäre die Hilfe/Patenschaft von OOo Entwicklern wünschenswert
(Mathias Huetsch, Stefan Taxhet, Michael Hollmichel? whose participation
as OOo devs would be very helpful ).
Die Frage nach dem Lead stellt sich noch nicht so richtig - sehen wir
mal. The question about the lead seems a bit prematured, let's first
have a lookaround.

Klar,
OOo ist schon sehr amerikanozentriert - was bei dem 50% gen Anteil
europäischer Entwickler (HH) schon erstaunlich und im Produktdesign (kein
besserer Ausdruck z. Verfügung) nicht so schön ist. lang.de soll schlicht
eine "deutsche" Site von www.openoffice.org sein, die aber ganz eng mit OOo
verzahnt sein soll, also kein isolationistischers Eigenleben führen soll.
Das umfaßt alles, von der Entwicklungsarbeit über Dokumentation (FAQs,
How-tos...) bis zum Marketing. Vor allem aber die beidseitige Kommunikation
von Entwicklern zu Usern und Usern wieder zu Entwicklern im Sinne eines
Forums.
Ausführlicheres findest Du in der chat.de.Staroffice ng (mal durchbrowsen).

Nochmal: das ist ok.
Vielleicht habe ich zu sehr auf dem "mitmachen" rumgehackt. Ich will nur
vermeiden, daß ich erst den Teufel tue, eine lang.de zu etablieren, und dann
läuft da gar nix. Aber eigentlich habe ich da keine große Angst, wenn ich
mir dieses Forum hier ansehe.

Englisch hat mich - obwohl ich es einigermaßen beherrsche - immer von
einer aktiven Mitarbeit abgehalten. Dies scheint sich ja nun zu ändern
und deshalb: +1
