TDataSet descendent

how can I build my own TDataSet component or better, what's wrong, when my
own TDataSet only shows the first record of the underlaying database and all
actions raise an exception.
History:
I built my own dBase compatible database component and this component is
well tested and used in an CGI application, which runs more then 60 days
with more then 100 attached peoples at the same time per day without any
error.
Now, I want to use this component as underlaying database component in a new
designed TDataSet, to make it easy building database applications using the
Borland / Inprise data aware controls like DBGrid, DBEdit and so on.
Why it's not allowed to post attachments, I can only send the source via

Sorry about my bad English but I've never learned it at school or later,
