WebCam Problem

Hallo zusammen
Ich habe eine Phillips WebCam PCVC 680k
(VestaPro)

Die Kamera läßt sich nicht unter Windows Me installieren
Bei "WindowsAudio Treiber werden installiert" geht nichts mehr.
Herunterfahren oder Neustart nicht möglich.

Habe die 1.3 Version der Camera SW auf CD
und das letzte WebUpdate 1.6.
Immer das gleiche Problem.

Kann jemand helfen?

Bei mir funktioniert die Webcam unter ME und 2000.
Ich hatte aber die gleichen Probleme bei der Installation.

Geholfen habe ich mir, indem ich die Software von CD installiert habe.
Dann beim Einfrieren den Computer geresetet habe. In der Systemsteuerung war
die Cam dann aber eingetragen, funktionierte aber nicht. -> aktuelle Treiber
vom Netz gezogen -> die alte Software komplett deinstalliert und das
Verzeichnis von Hand geleert.
Hinterher hat die Installation vom Web-Treiber komplett funktioniert.

Was für ein Board hast Du? Wegen USB.

unten liest, und dass viele Leute, die ähnliche Probleme
haben, gerne mitlesen würden?

Hallo

Habe ein Asus P55T2P4 Rev. 3.10.
Alle anderen USB Komponenten laufen 1a daran.
(Aktiver USB Hub,MS Maus, Gamevoice, Strategic Commander, Natural Keyboard
Pro, HP ScanJet 2200C, Teledat X120)

Also nicht gleich mit den WebUpdate für die Vesta Pro (680k)
installieren?

Introduction
============
The VestaWebUpdate16.exe file is a driver upgrade for the PCVC675K, PCVC680K
and PCVC690K Philips PC Cameras. You may use this driver upgrade if you
encounter problems with
- audio support
- fatal exception in QCAP.DLL when using Philips Wizard
- missing Win98 CDROM during installation under Windows Millenium Edition
- Twain support
- Windows 2000 protection
- blocked installation in Windows XP.

It upgrades the PCVC675K/PCVC680K installation disks version 1.1, 1.2 and
1.3
and the PCVC690K installation disk version 1.1. It is Windows 98 (SE),
Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows XP compatible.
It supports application installation in Windows XP.
It does not install Pagecam for PCVC690K.

Upgrading PCVC675K, PCVC680K or PCVC690K with Windows 98, -2000 or -ME.

To upgrade the Philips PC Camera under Windows 98, -2000 or -ME with the
VestaWebUpdate 1.6 tool, act as following:
1. Click on VestaWebUpdate16.exe to start downloading.
2. Select "Save this program to disk".
3. Select "Desktop" for save location .
4. Install the camera using the installation CD-ROM supplied with the
camera.
5. Unplug your camera and run VestaWebUpdate16.exe by double clicking the
file
located on the Desktop of your PC.
6. Follow the instructions on screen and press 'Camera' button when you
asked
to do so.
7. Plug in the camera when you are asked to do so and wait until the camera
is installed.
8. Press 'Exit' and 'Finish' to finalise the installation.

Installing PCVC675K, PCVC680K and PCVC690K with Windows XP.

To install the Philips PC Camera under Windows XP with the VestaWebUpdate
1.6
tool, act as following:
1. Click on VestaWebUpdate16.exe to start downloading.
2. Select "Save this program to disk".
3. Select "Desktop" for save location .
4. Run VestaWebUpdate16.exe by double clicking the file located on the
Desktop
of your PC.
5. Press "next" and "Yes" to install the driver files.
6. Plug in the camera when you are asked to do so and wait until the
Philips
Wizard appears on screen.
7. Press "Exit" in the Philips Wizard and the "Finish" button.
8. Insert the "Philips PC Camera Installation Disk PCVC675K/PCVC680K or
PCVC690K" CDROM in the CDROM drive of your PC when you are asked to do
so.
9. Select preferred installation language and applications you want to
install
and press the "Install" button.
10. The selected applications will be installed on your PC.
11. Finally you are asked to reboot your PC.
