The site will be mainly be managed by HellRaiser (as soon as he is
back from his honeymoon). Until then we will try to update it on a
daily basis!

Perfect Copy Update

Electro Dude has posted Perfect Copy v1.29

Perfect Copy Updates:

o Fixed: Browse button for CloneCD exefile & imagefile. It showed the
directory twice.
o Added: Application list in separate window. Not many applications
are protected.
o Fixed: Disabled MultiSelect in Gamelist. Didn't worked as intended.
Making a workaround.
o Added: Autostart When Windows is Booting For Perfect Copy
o Added: "pcc.exe /minimized" starts pcc minimized.
o Removed: Write cd & Read cd. Many couldn't figure this feature out.
o Fixed: Insertion for "Don't repair SubChannel Data." wouldn't work
sometimes.

DAEMON Tools Update
---------------------------------------------------------------------

GameFix has posted the DAEMON Tools V1.03a update!

New Features:
o Emergency bug fix for Win2000 setup! It disables memory write
protection on Win2000 systems which don't have SoftICE installed.
DAEMON Tools would not work without it!
o Added 'fast dump' feature! If you run the Safedisc protected game
and then launch any CD dump software (DiscDump, for example, or
Blindread) all bad sectors will be skipped in about 10 seconds
o Virtual DAEMON will generate them automatically for the dumping
software and dramatically lessen the dumping time, especially on
bad CD readers. Using this feature it's either possible to create
perfect copies of 1:1 copies without 'errors'.
o Added 'autostart' and 'taskbar icon' options.
o Added Setup Support for Win 95B and above

After more than a year managing & moderating our GCW Forums, SWENSKE
has come to a decision to stop doing it. He has been a GREAT help for
us and we wish him well doing new stuff!!!

We will try to get a replacement and maybe further extend our
moderator team as there will be more Forums coming along in the near
future! If you got a good idea for a new forum or for making it
(even) better then let us know!

Also the DC Backup Forum has been opened today!
