Etwas "bit rot" beobachte ich auch bei Gnus.

Setze ich z. B. (setq nntp-record-commands t), um o. G.
nachzuvollziehen, erhalte ich Meldungen nach dem Muster

gnus-select-newsgroup: Couldn't request group
de.comm.software.newsreader: Couldn't open connection to
news.individual.de: (wrong-type-argument char-or-string-p
news.individual.de)

und im *nntp-log*-Buffer landet nur der Timestamp.

Mein Gnus ist aber schon etwas angestaubt, und ich bin gerade nicht in
Stimmung zum Debuggen.
